My personal favorite medium is paint. I love the way it can easily blend and all the ways you can manipulate it to do different things. There are many different types of paint you can use and each has their own purpose.

Acrylic dries fast while oil paint can take days to dry. Becuase of the slower dry time oil is easier to blend and better if you like to breaks when working on a painting. Gouache is good because it works like watercolor is the fact that it is water activated. One cool thing about gouache that is not like water color is the fact that it can be reactivated after it dries.
